eutrain Account and Data Deletion

eutrain is operated by SMEA GLOBAL LIMITED.

You may request the permanent deletion of your eutrain account and associated personal data at any time.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Send an email to support@eutrain.com from the email address associated with your eutrain account.
  2. Use the subject line: eutrain Account Deletion Request.
  3. Include the email address registered to your account. If you signed in with Google or Apple, please provide the email address linked to that sign-in method.
  4. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
  5. Once verified, your account will generally be deleted or de-identified within 30 days.

Please do not include your password, payment card details, passport details, or other sensitive information in your email.

Data That Will Be Deleted

The following data will normally be deleted or permanently de-identified:

  • Account and profile information
  • Login identifiers and linked sign-in credentials
  • Saved passenger information
  • Saved preferences and marketing choices
  • Other personal data that is no longer required to provide services or comply with legal obligations

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where required for legal, regulatory, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or contractual purposes:

  • Booking, payment, refund, invoice, and accounting records: up to 7 years
  • Identity-document information, where collected: normally deleted within 90 days after travel
  • Customer-support and AI-assisted chat records: up to 3 years after the case is closed
  • Fraud-prevention and security records: up to 5 years
  • Technical and security logs: generally 12 months, and up to 24 months where necessary
  • Privacy and compliance records: up to 6 years
  • Residual copies stored in backups: up to 90 days

Retained information will only be used for the purposes described above and will be deleted or anonymised when the applicable retention period expires.

Important Information

Deleting your eutrain account does not delete your Google or Apple account. It only removes your eutrain account and disconnects the relevant sign-in method.

If you have an active booking, we may retain the information necessary to provide the booked service, manage refunds or claims, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
